65 millions years old - found in Wyoming, USA. Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France. 3D scanned using Agisoft Photoscan. Update : I uploaded a new version of the scan. More detail, better texture, and should be suitable for 3D Printing (no holes). At a strip mall across town is this concrete Statue of Liberty. I’ve driven by it for years. I decided to do a quick and dirty model of it. By the time I got to the strip mall, the sun was close to setting and I had to hurry.
As you can see, South Dakota seasons are hard on decorative concrete sculptures like this one. The agragate under the surface of the concrete is starting to show in places where the concrete has worn away. The protective paint is patchy giving moisture more places to penetrate and wear down the concrete.
This model is just the latest generation cast from a prototype I first saw in the 1980s when the Statue of Liberty’s centennial was approaching. Liberty fever was on the rise and someone cashed in by creating this stylized replica.
It has been recreated in aluminum, fiberglass and concrete. It can be found in numerous statuary and garden centers. Like the Boy Scouts copper replica, it is kind of ugly but it grows on you 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 922579 polygons.

Equipment used: Canon 600D (used around 175 photos in a phototent+turntable setup with continuous dual softbox lighting).
Software used: Agisoft Photoscan, RAW photo editor, Blender,Instant Meshes and Substance Painter.

The Original Scan had around 22M faces/triangles and was decimated to around 4.5M before baking a normal map from it.
The Lowpoly has 20K triangles.
Texture: the texture in the preview is an 8K texture, i’ve also made a 2k and 4k texture.
If you want a good view of the scan’s quality, check the ‘Matcap+Surface’ option in the model inspector.
Remember you can adjust the lighting by holding ALT + Left mouse button.
