If you spent any time watching user created content on the internet you may have heard an interesting theory that the Great Pyramid in Egypt may have had a function similar to a Tesla coil where energy is gathered from underground aquafers which pass thru the the interior granite which permits ionization. A secondary layer, a mix of limestone, crystal and metals are conductive while the outter most limestone layer acts as an insulator. My submission for a past Sketchwars theme: redo a classic…
My thought is that something went astray with the Thunderbird between 1963 and 1967. My 3D sketch is a proposal for a different aesthetic bridge between the lovely 1963 body style and the somewhat radical departure of 1967. This took 4 hours to do, completely done in 3D while immersed in VR using Gravity Sketch. I had 2D reference pictures in the scene, but all the ideation of the forms was done in 3D.
This is a non-traditional medium (skipping 2D) so I did a bunch of tweaking with post process effects to give it a more grainy textured paper/punchy colors/rendered look … minus the dabs of white gouache for highlights!

ForeVR Darts is the second flagship game by ForeVR Games Studio released for the VR Oculus Quest Community. I had the opportunity to be a part of the great development team creating this fun & engaging VR game for Oculus Quest. For this release, I was provided with the task to design, create, and package the whole Chinese Lunar New Year prop set during this Holiday update with ForeVR Darts Seasonal release.
