In the depths of the wood a child in a red hood found a mysterious pink creatures. Hi there =) This is my entry for sketchfab #StorybookChallange . Before hearding this challange I always wanted to learn hand painted or atleast wanted to make a handpainted 3d model but I could find any avaliable moment until this challange. I decided to join it. It was a really though challange at the begining you know in books everything is 2d and it was really hard to convert that things to 3d. In the end I am really happy about conclusion I learned lots of new things about animation and hand painting in this challange I am planning to make much more model like this in future =). Made a separate vanilla minecraft build using similar technique on making trees and plants from my previous cambodian build. Wanted to share this to show how detailed forest can be without using any resourcepacks and mods.
Used a lot of floating / combined plants for detailing. And also some biome coloring for green color variations (doesn’t show on this preview, but ingame)
Also testing out realistic plant shading in sketchfab (using minecraft lol)
