First object to test out my new macro lens for the NX30. Does solid work, but i think there´s much room to improve. The leafes were particularly difficult to scan and required much subsequent sculpting.
If anyone got suggestion on how to improve in marco photogrammetry or tips about workflows and setups.. throw them out. Happy for any informations :)

Here is the 8th model of the archeology collection.
This limestone funerary cippus was discovered in Bordeaux during the unearthing of the Gallo- Roman ramparts in 1868. It is dated 258 a.C. The epitaphs are dated 261 a.C.
The double epitaph, both pagan and christian, does not allow to say that Domitia was Christian. However, it is an extremely interesting marker of the transition to the time when Christianity will prevail in this part of the world.
You can discover it at the Aquitaine Museum in Bordeaux, France.

This is a 3D model of a reusable bamboo straw. In the sphere of environmentally conscious production, bamboo is a popular alternative to plastic, due to its fast growth and biodegradability. This model was created by Lara Wischert, current student at Maastricht University/ Media Studies - Digital Cultures.
The bamboo straw is part of the digital collection “21st century time capsule” and stands representative for the modern struggle for sustainability. The plastic straw has become the scapegoat for overconsumption. Even though we produce reusable alternatives, we cannot get plastic pollution under control. The media outcry about plastic straws hurting sea animals has made a great impact on current views on plastic straws. Buckie House (also informally known as the Shell House) was built in the late 17th century. In the 1840s the then owner Alex Batchelor extensively decorated the house with seashells, both inside and out. Alex also went on the decorate his own coffin which was also adorned with sea shells which he charged people to see.
Restoration work was carried out on the exterior in 1968 and 2010. The house is situated on the corner of Elizabeth Place and High Street West which form part of the main road through Anstruther, this leaves the building and its decoration vulnerable to damage from large vehicles negotiating the corner.
Most of the photographs were taken from across the street with a few from the middle of the road when there was no traffic.
