An entirely handpainted scene with a bunch of vegetables! I really wanted to practice handpainting a lot more than usual, and see what sort of effect I could achieve if I took the time to make some stylized textures just by hand! Also, this project was initially meant to be just a collection of vegetables, however I thought they would look very lonely simply floating around, so I developed the original idea by making a little scenery for them as well. starting out as a sketchfab mini comp, this has slowly become a bit of a project that I keep chipping away at and I think I’m finally ready to call this done :)
So presenting… my take on Hook and Smee from the childhood favourite ‘Peter Pan’ presented as a cocker spaniel and a pug, they did it for the musketeers so why not this.
