Took a lot longer than I expected because this week has been fairly crazy, but here's another in a series of isometric room dioramas. I still think I prefer how the first one turned out, the living room diorama. How bright and clean it was, and yet more flatly shaded. After playing some Alien: Isolation I just had to make this model. After a day and a half of work, fueled mainly by hip hop, it is complete.
The face detail is actually all texture work and the face geometry itself is completely flat. I could have used a high-low poly bake but I decided instead to use an alpha and the height map stamping effect in Substance Painter as I was going to be spending a lot of time authoring the texture for the face text anyway I might as well just make an alpha for the imprint (also my laptop would probably just melt if I tried to work with a high poly with enough polygons).
