  Jeniah 3D Model 2023-11-06
This character model was part of a game project for my final course this spring. This character was the main character in our game “Jeniah”, and she was the one the players played as. Our game project was very inspired by Souls-games like Dark Souls and a little bit of Bloodborne, and so I did my best to try and get the rigth “feeling” for the characters. For this one I had a sketched concept art of the upper-half of the body made by one of my teammates, but I had to edit the shoulderpads to fit the game more, so the ones in this final model are edited. The rest I came up with on my own. I had four days to make this character as well. Base body modeled in Zbrush. Cloth in Marvelous Designer, armour, hairplanes, and retopologization in Maya. Textured in Substance Painter. For the hairplanes, I rendered the textures from creating hair clumps in XGen and then using XNormals to get the different textures 3d model

A new spaceship with a new texture approach. A mix of realistic texture and cel-shading to have a 2D/3D rendering. Making of The Terran Zerofighter is modeled on 3D Studio Max. Once finished, I duplicated the entire geometry, applied a flat black shader and added a thin thickness of 0.5 mm. When the black envelope covers the entire ship, it suffices to invert the faces and make them visible only on one side (Backface cull). We obtain the inking around the volumes. When the uv’s are made to apply the textures, all you have to do is import it into 3D-Coat. For the texture, I worked in shades of gray, purely 2D to draw everything I needed (plates, screws etc.) All that remains is to apply clipping masks on the corresponding layers and add material, volume, etc. The texture finished, I exported my different textures into a PBR Metalness/Roughness workflow which includes: albedo - metalness - roughness - normal - emissive 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 85524 polygons.

November 26th 2022 - updated the finished model in .FBX format with rigging and 3 different textures. Includes red, blue and flame paintjobs! This sleek one-man fighter was shown in the first episode of the third series, then sat in the cargo bay spockblocking at EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY. The fanboys weren’t stupid, it was obvious this gorgeous girl was going to make a comeback to blast the chin horns off some baddies one day… Model is in .FBX format with UV mapping and rigging, you an see the bones in the “Model Inspector” screen. I have made this to match the CGI version with a complete smooth cockpit and extra details around the side blasters. The feet aren’t quite symmetrical, there is a small rectangular detail on the left side but not on the right. I have deliberately made the landing gear flaps on the chin different from the TV show because the on-screen version doesn’t close air tight.
