This is “The Big Red Mountain" with the city of Ivins, Utah, US constantly growing northward toward its base. I did part of my growing up here. The name is funny because it's not really big (I could climb it within a couple of hours). Plus, while being a “mountain" by definition, it's more of a weird half-plateau. Define it as you will, it's beautiful and special to me.

Fan-art from the game Final Fantasy 7!! This is the Cosmo Canyon, one of the cities that can be visited through the game. It was a comission where I was asked to made an stylized and simplified version of the place, and this is how it turned out! I decided to push the limit of Sketchfab’s capabilities, and added a day-night cycle to the scene. It was a bit tricky, as lamps can’t be animated, at least for now. Both are inflated using hydrogen gas, generated by a hydrogen generator at the surface. A printed circuit board (PCB) continuously checks the gas present in the balloon/chute and refills a s necessairy. The balloon version has uninflated balloons that can be filled in an emergency situation. The electricity generator sits in the middle (DOES NOT connect directly to the axle) and is connected to the gear hub (which is electrically controlled via a motor near the tail).
