Anse de Laurons 2 is the wreck of a small Roman period sailing vessel dating to the end of the 3rd century CE, which probably sank during a storm while sheltering in the shallow harbor at Laurons, just west of Marseille in modern France. At only about 15m in length and with an estimated displacement of around 30 tons, it probably only traded between small harbors along the local coastline. When it sank, the port-side was quickly covered in sediment ensuring excellent preservation up to the deck and even the railing. Rigging elements, a spare rudder, and possible fragments from wooden panels that may have covered the hold, along with rarely-preserved structures for supporting the side rudders (the side “wings" you see in a lot of Roman period art). This reconstruction is based on plans by R. Bockius. The decorative elements are hypothetical, based on contemporary paintings and mosaics. General Characteristics:
The Aviluminis noctilux, commonly known as the “Luminave,” is an intriguing bird that inhabits the distant planet of Lumina. It features a peculiar body measuring 10 to 15 cm in length and weighing 500 grams, which prevents it from performing flights. Its body, mostly devoid of feathers, has a dorsal region, wings, and the tip of its tail covered in bright blue plumage that emits light in the darkness of the night.
Insects and Larvae Trap:
The feathers on the antennae have specialized structures that secrete a sweet and enticing scent to attract nocturnal insects and larvae. When the insects are drawn in by the light and the scent, they become trapped in the feathers of the antennae, which function as a natural trap. This provides an additional food source for the Luminaves, ensuring a constant supply of nutrients.

History Brief :
Emblematic helmet from the upper English middle age (VII century) this piece is believed to have belonged to King Rædwald of East Anglia, one of the eight Bretwaldas of Britain (the fourth). It was discovered in a large funeral boat covered by a tumulus. The name of the archeological area, near the small town of Sutton (which from old english sut + tun mean south farmstead or village) and Hoo ( Hoh, describing a hill shaped like a heel spur) gave by extension the name to the entire treasure.

It’s a 3D boat model I’ve done for my personal Unreal Engine 5 project. Modelling is done in Blender, then sculpting in ZBrush, and at the end texturing in Substance Painter. I left some extra geometry at the back of the boat (concave rectangular shapes) because it will be the most visible side in the final project but in the end, baked details look so good that I would delete that geometry next time.
The shape was based on the Chokkibune Boat design (http://www.douglasbrooksboatbuilding.com/chokkibune.html), but I opted for darker wood and added some decorations on the sides.
