3D scan of a Terror-bird model from the species Paraphysornis brasiliensis. Members of the Phorusrhacidae family are commonly known under the term “Terror-birds”. Species of these apex predators could reach a height up to 3 meters! They lived mainly in South America from the early Tertiary (55 million years ago) until the late glacial period.
This model can be found in Hall 9 at the NHM Vienna.

Behold the cat-lizard. Its and amalgamation of a cat, big flightless birds and lizards. The color pattern was directly ripped off from an Argus monitor lizard. It was sculpted in Zbrush, and used Mari for textures for the first time to learn the program. Here for Sketchfab the textures of the cat-lzard are on 1 UV tile but the original texturing was made across 4 x 8K.
The grass, log and ground are from textures around the web (mostly the free assets from quixels megascans).

3D scan of a Eastern moa (Emeus crassus) skeleton from the Pleistocene. Moas are extinct birds that lived on New Zealand. This skeleton was gifted to the museum by Dr. Julius Ritter von Haast.
This specific skeleton is housed backstage, but complete skeletons of both a giant moa (Dinornis maximus) and another Eastern moa are number 77 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 30 of the NHM Vienna. Three more skeletons of different moa species (Dinornis struthioides, Dinornis elephantopus and Dinornis gravis) are displayed in the Ice Age (Eiszeit) corridor.
