A large half destroyed war machine only barely clinging onto a street lamp for balance. Battered and barely repaired it slowly patrols the streets.
So this one took me way too long. I had the original Idea for it back in November and started working on it then, but then my bachelor’s thesis paper got in the way and I had to put it aside. It was originally going to be a realistic highpoly model, but my PC couldn’t handle it, I tried the last weeks to fix it in some way, but seeing how my software student-licences are probably gone soon I took the lowpoly and made it very stylised. I do like how it turned out.

As soon I saw this concept, I decided to implement it in 3D, I just needed a reason to work closely with the Hurd surface in ZBrush and get the most out of the automatic retopology. It seemed corny to me to make another combat mech, so I decided to turn to aerospace and NASA.
