This is a character I’ve made for my game entry on the Epic MegaJam 2019, a gamejam hosted by Epic Games, in wich participants had to make a game based on a given theme in seven days using the Unreal-game-Engine. On top of this, there was a modifier category called Space Cats, for the best game incorporating “Space Cats”, and so after several days lost jumping from one idea to another and since the given theme was “down to earth, i decided to try out and make a graphic adventure about being nice with others. It was quite a challenge due to its particular design as well as the subtle hue shift in the concept. It was super interestingand I learned quite a lot from it! I tried my best to make it fit in some kind of Handpainted Diablo-like game! Maybe it could be a dungeon boss !?!

This ancient and traditional bell is located inside premises of “Jesthavarna Mahvihar” in Kathmandu. Mahavihar are monasteries that are usually two stories tall, very much important to cultural community called “newar” who are Kathmandu’s historical inhabitants.
It is said that by ringing the bell, the devotee informs the deity of his arrival. This bell is beautifully carved and stands together with Buddha and other statues at the top.
There are various inscription within the temple on various objects like roof, walls written N.S 589, NS 793, NS 833, NS 993, which is equal to 1469 AD, 1673 AD, 1713 AD and 1813 AD. No inscription written on the bell was found.
