ForeVR Darts is the second flagship game by ForeVR Games Studio released for the VR Oculus Quest Community. I had the opportunity to be a part of the great development team creating this fun & engaging VR game for Oculus Quest. For this release, I was provided with the task to design, create, and package the whole Chinese Lunar New Year prop set during this Holiday update with ForeVR Darts Seasonal release.

For this fun project, the objective was to design and create a Chinese New Year traditional gift giving of ‘Red Envelope’ to present to our players from ForeVR Studio. In pushing the envelope (pun intended) with the process of design and creativity, I wanted to give our players a visually surprising, fun, and interactive prop when opening the red envelope awaiting them in our lobby. They can grow up to 2 meters in length and are therefore among the largest of the pheasant species. This pair lived in the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria, and is part of the museum’s collection since 1932.
