It’s a cactus made in the shape of cats, so it’s a “cat”ctus! Get it?? Anyway, it was super fun bringing Miski’s (@miskiart) concept into the 3D sphere (pun intended) just becuase I always enjoy the challenge of using outlines and bright colors. This piece, however, is a bit out of my usual format since the textures are just base colors with little to no hand-painterly work. My rendetion of the Juggernaut 5 from Mandalorian TV show, named as Juggernaut 5.1. There are some slight differencies against the tv show. Model is also rigged, so you can use it for an animation. Juggernaut 5 was only vehicle which survived the pirate raid and successfully delivered the fuel into fuel refinery. Unfortunatelly the vehicle was destroyed later when Din Djarin and Mayfeld escaped the refinery by shot into uncovered tank. The vehicle itself is bassed on HAVw A6 Juggernaut know more as clone turbo tank. This version consist only from one big hull, but HCVw A9.2 juggernaut consists from 5 sections connected by hinges. Thanks to this solution the vehicle was more manouverable in the jungle of Morak than unarmed version HCVw A9. It was quite a challenge to make this scene in less than a week while working a full-time job. Despite having to go to bed way too late every night, in order to finish it by the end of the week, I feel pretty good about the work I’ve done. Some might say it’s an interesting color choice for a guitar amp, and I would agree. To be honest it was a complete accident. I was experimenting with different finishes when stumbled upon a deep blue plastic material in my library which later became the base for material that made it to the render stage. The original idea was to make it orange as they usually are, but every time I compared the two my heart leaned more and more towards the blue one. Se here we are. Blue Orange amp.
