A fight ensued during which the woman was killed and the pope subsequently punished the locals by destroying their fountain. The present fountain of Pianoscarano was built in 1376 replacing the original one. To solve this problem, we applied a complex solution - a combination of laser scanning and photogrammetric imaging. The work process is divided into 2 stages. • The first stage involved laser scanning with panoramic photography and taking photos of the object from the UAV. It took 16 scanning stations and 350 photos to create an informative cloud of facade points. Using the RTC360 laser scanner and the Phantom Advanced UAV, this stage was completed in 4 hours. • The second step was implemented by using Leica Cyclone and Capturing Reality software, which consisted of linking scan data in the local coordinate system. The next item was an automatic combination of an aligned cloud of dots and photos.
