  MH SK R.A.9.3 Fossilized Crinoids 3D Model 2023-11-05
Fossil containing two adult Taxocrinus Meeki, one young Taxocrinus Meeki, two Pentrimites stems and one Platyceras.

Lower Carboniferous.  Crawfordsville, Indiana.  Taxocrinus is a crinoid and Pentrimites is a Blastoid; both of the phylum Echinodermata.  Platyceras is a Gastropod; phylum Mollusca.  This specimen is a good illustration of Platyceras being commensal on Taxocrinus.
