In 1518 4 ships and 260 men left the island of Cuba lead by Juan de Grijalva and commanded by Francisco de Montejo being the first sights and encounter in the Yucatan Peninsula, the Spanish ships encountered the ancient city of Tulum in which they were confronted with war.
During Mictlan, this will be one of the first scenes showcasing the dynamic and evolving scenario of what would become the beginning of a bloody and tragic war against the people of Mesoamerica.
I 3D model one of the most important temple buildings in Tulum as a way to re create not just one of my favorite ancient sites but also to lay the foundation of the history that is not much known.

The Convair F2Y Sea Dart was an American seaplane fighter aircraft that rode on twin hydro-skis during takeoff and landing. It flew only as a prototype, and never entered mass production. It is the only seaplane to have exceeded the speed of sound.
It was created in the 1950s, to overcome the problems with supersonic planes taking off and landing on aircraft carriers. The program was canceled after a series of unsatisfactory results and a tragic accident on 4 November 1954, in which test pilot Charles E. Richbourg was killed when the Sea Dart he was piloting disintegrated in midair. My attempt at making something close to OceanGate Titan Submersible, which was tragically lost after it went missing on the 18th June 2023. The US Coast Guard’s findings explained that it had imploded and the crew had been instantly killed. The Titan was doomed from the beginning, with unusual practise during its construction and made with crude materials. The Titan was an experimental submersible, and was not officially certified.

Bronze statue located next to the City Park (Stadspark) of Antwerp (Belgium).
The statue was cast in Paris by F. Barbedienne, from an original stone sculpture by Marcel Bourbier. The piece was part of the French pavillion during the World Fair of 1930 in Antwerp, and was later gifted to the city of Antwerp by the city of Paris. The original stone sculpture has since disappeared (a smaller bronze cast is on display in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nîmes / EDIT: apparently the original is now at Hearst Castle in California!).
This beautiful, innocent scene foreshadows a tragic ending; the girl depicted in the sculpture, Marcelle Battu, was later accused of collabortion with the German occupiers and sentenced to death by the Military Court of Nîmes.
