Hello everybody.
As part of Sketchfab’s Low Poly Pirates competition I created this scene. I was a big fan of TaleSpin and especially of Don Karnage. If you never heard about him, check out the best of Don Karnage on YouTube: here. However, that is why I decided to create airships.
I had a lot of fun wiht that scene. I made everything by myself. I struggled with the maelstrom. I tried a lot of different styles. I needed around three days to find a satisfiying solution for me. Altogether I worked one week at that scene.

This semi stylized character was a LOT of work. Like for real. I had a lot of fun though! Especially the texturing process really brought her to shine! I did struggle quite a lot with the face though, and it still didn’t quite turn out as I wanted it to. However, I think it turned out neat overall.

This project feels like the reimaging of two separate projects I’ve done in the past. Mountain top castle, and lighthouse island. Both projects that at the time I was pleased with, but looking back on I felt weren’t my best.
I liked their premises a lot so I went ahead and merged the two together. Thus Castle Island was born!
Now for this scene, I did something I don’t often do when It comes to modelling scenes. I purchased pre-existing work. I know! Crazy, but I was having a strange amount of trouble modelling grass, I couldn’t get anything that looked “grass” you know?
I found an awesome little collection pack of low poly natural and organic models. Something I do tend to struggle with making so I was in awe that I found something that fit my style and could be a great leg up in terms of things I struggle with. Definitely going to see if I can leverage these assets in the future. This is my contribution to the digital car creation. It started as a simple model but adding more and more detail led it to the current state. The demo animation should give you some ideas what’s inside the package but it doesn’t include everything.
I wasn’t able to optimize it for sketchfab without loosing too much quality (normally I’d hide parts of the model) so it’ll take a bit to load the textures and unfortunately (also for me) some of you (with slower GPUs) will struggle a bit to see the content - in that case, please pause the animation.
It’s a complete model of the 911SC from ‘83. It’s completely unwrapped, with painted textures and rigged. The rig is of course made for this animation but I’ll attach a different one suitable for Unreal Engine.

A project of mine created to broaden my portfolio and to test out the creation of a full (even though limtied) stylized environment, as I personall really like the look of those :)
It has brought a lot of challenges, a bit of struggle and got me to examine and explore lots of other artists’ pipelines in order to find solutions to my problems, but I am satisfied with the end result and am looking forward to create more stylized stuff in the future.

This massive black sculpture is sheer poetry in stone. The sculpture, by Devi Prasad Roy Choudhary, depicts the famous Dandi March led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1931 against oppressive salt taxes imposed by the British regime. This sculpture is locate outside President House can be seen by visitors entering New Delhi.This sculpture is dedicated to millions of Indian who participated in freedom struggle.
