This model was created to substitue my store building in Second Life. Textures and meshes were made to have a low land impact, low server impact and to prevent lag. All materials are single face shaded, because SL doesn’t have a double sided shader. The scale is also a little bigger than the real world scale, due to the limitations of SL default camera. Usually, I stay away from challenges because I never have enough time to finish something and honestly, I feel a little intimidated by the awesome work of other artists. But it’s not all about winning, right? For Sketchfab’s Halloween Challenge I decided to finally get out of my comfort zone and do this little cute and spooky model that is based on Patri Balanovsky’s original concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mlKWY). I’m super happy about being done with it just in time. I could have gone on and on for hours when it comes to the texturing. It was a lot of fun to work on it. Hope you guys like it!
