  WW1 memorial 3D Model 2023-11-06
A memorial in tribute to the fallen soldiers of the WW1, located in the oldest grayeyard of the city of Tours, cimetière La Salle. I made three 6k video around the monument from different angles, then I picked 120 frames from each of them, finally processing the 360 pics in reality capture. neutral lighting (pics made during cloudy weather) For a 16k texture I pre processed the pics to get better colors, contrast and exposure. Simplified in instantmeshes. This is one of the Ancient Lion Pillars that I had converted into a 3D Model with the help of Zbrush. Basically, I had made the pillar in Maya and then the lion’s skull in the Zbrush (This is my first time to work on it). Then I had combined them up, to put some cracks on the pillar so that it would have an ancient look. Then the same thing as it is (Low poly, Unwrapping and Baking).
