The Iron Spider Armor, listed as Item 17A of the Avengers Compound, is an armored version of the Spider-Man Suit comprised of nanotechnology. It was created by Tony Stark for Peter Parker to use as an Avenger, offered to him in 2016 after he prevented Vulture from stealing from a Stark Cargo Plane. After initially rejecting the suit, Spider-Man was given the suit two years later during the Infinity War, using it to survive in space and fight Thanos on Titan. The suit, along with Spider-Man, was turned to dust during the Snap, although it was restored when Parker was resurrected by Hulk in 2023 and was used to fight the Outriders during the Battle of Earth.
In 2024, Spider-Man used the armor to subdue members of the Manfredi Crime Family. Months later, he used it to fight Doctor Octopus, who used his tentacles to remove a chunk of the armor and transfer its nanites onto his tentacles. A palette-swapped, F-Zero GX-based 3D model of the Jody Summer trophy (from Super Smash Bros Brawl) to match the colors of my 2001 Volvo S60 (named after Jody Summer):
Red unitard to match Classic Red exterior color,
Charcoal-gray armor to match exterior moldings and interior color,
Black shoulder pads to match facelifted mirrors,
Smoke-gray boots to match gunmetal-gray-painted wheels
Blue gloves remained untouched to match brake caliper color,
Blue badge thingy, which is—coincidentally—near her heart to match the color of the engine covers.
This was an absolute cake walk to finish, and I had too much fun with it! Learned quite a bit about 3D model extensions from this, as well.
