Usually, I stay away from challenges because I never have enough time to finish something and honestly, I feel a little intimidated by the awesome work of other artists. But it's not all about winning, right? For Sketchfab's Halloween Challenge I decided to finally get out of my comfort zone and do this little cute and spooky model that is based on Patri Balanovsky's original concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mlKWY). I'm super happy about being done with it just in time. I could have gone on and on for hours when it comes to the texturing. It was a lot of fun to work on it. Hope you guys like it! Sculpted, retopologized, and then painted.
(This was essentially my first time doing any 3 of those steps).

The grass I wanted looked much softer, but sketchfab (as far as I’m aware) doesn’t support billboarding.

I was inspired to make this rubber hose style model of my own character! It also made for some really good practice for rigging noodle joints in Blender! I learned a lot from this. Y’know I’m a little surprised it took me this long to make something in this style in 3D. I love this style! and I used to attempt to draw a lot when I was kid!
