This is a charming little dead end street in the Rio Antigo part of Gloria Rio de Janeiro. Really the whole neighborhood is cute as hell with narrow cobblestone streets and many walking paths all around the hill with views. Here I shot 131 photos and processed with Agisoft Photoscan to create the 3D model. In addition I shot an HDR panoramic to get the sky and bright sun in there. This will be used as a location for an upcoming VR short I am working on 3D Model is ready to download for free

Decided to mix this wonderful scene with a little bit of Silent Hill 1, one of my all time favourites. Which means a very specific color palette, lighting, and fog (well, fog didn’t turn out that well, but still a decent attempt, I think).
