****This model was updated in substance painter with new uvs and textures created in substance painter. The model can easily be modified with a turbosmooth modifier or decimate the model and keep the uvs for a low poly build. This model was created in 3ds max and retopologised with a turbosmooth modifier and the uvs was created in 3ds max and then the high poly detail was baked onto the model with substance painter. The M134 Minigun is a 7.62×51mm NATO six-barrel rotary machine gun with a high, sustained rate of fire (2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute). It features a Gatling-style rotating barrel assembly with an external power source, normally an electric motor. SciFi/Cyberpunk inspired helmet. Original design by me.
With this project I tried to experiment a new workflow. I created my own alphas in maya to create a new brush in Zbrush. It allowed me to put a lot of small details on my helmet. I still wanted to retopo my model in order for it to be real time rendered. The final lowpoly model has exactly 20K tris, and has a single 2K textures
