Here's a tribute to Pixar with a low poly recreation of Lightning McQueen from Cars (2006) in action. The recreation included an attempt of more accurate details of the paint-job from the first movie, and an extension of racetrack background. Testing my train-rig with an animation on an unrealistic curve
(the curve is a bit to sharp, train would crash in real life).
I’m not 100% happy with the rig but so far it works well , the axes recognize the animation path, steering works and everything is on rail.
Next, I’ll create the rig for the wagons and add some tire rotation.
