The alewife has been brewing ale for the household as they prepare for Sir Eustace and Lady Agnes’s return to Caerlaverock. Her ale is made using barley she bought from the monks at Sweetheart Abbey. She talks about Sweetheart and Lady Devorgilla and eludes to how it was named. The alewife would brew and sell ale to the community. The quality of water at the time was so poor that it meant that ale was a safer bet to drink. As the ale went sour very quickly, the alewife would be continually brewing fresh batches to keep her customers happy. This meant that it was a way for women to add additional income to a household. To place Amida-Nyorai(Amitabha) in the center for the religion, and place Kannon-Bosatsu(Avalokitesvara) and Seishi-Bosatsu(Mahasthamaprapta) on both sides of Amida-Nyorai, the form is called Amaida-Sanzon(Amitabha Triad).
Amida-Nyorai a Buddha leading the dead to paradise.
Kannon-Bosatsu represents “mercy” of Buddha, and Seishi-Bosatsu represents “wisdom” of Boddha.
To sculpt empossing Amitabha Triad with bordered inward by processing the stone into a plate shape is unique to the stone Buddha found in a part of Fukushima region.

According to historian Martin Krsek, the aim of the installation is to draw attention to the problematic fate of abandoned German graves in the Czech border region. In past, the tombstones often ended up as building materials or were forgotten on a rubble heaps.

He might also have responsibility for the livery of the lord’s knights, making sure that the lord’s coat of arms was showing. He would also look after the castle finances.
