Here featuring an under-slung M203 grenade launcher and a 60 round drum magazine, the MBAR was capable 500 rounds per minute, assuming the operator could handle the intense recoil. The weighted barrel extension and included bi-pod helped to mitigate this drawback but even so the MBAR was more bucking bronco than thoroughbred.
