En 1976 Minoru Hayashi tenía la idea de crear un pequeño súper coche que fuese capaz de competir en las 24 horas de Le Mans. El proyecto fue adquirido por Dome Co. Ltd, pero nunca llegaron a cumplir los requisitos para ser homologado en Japón como vehículo de calle. Con enfoque en USA, numerosas empresas de juguetes llegaron a un acuerdo con la compañía para crear miniaturas del modelo. (Dome Zero era el vehículo en el que se transformaba Rodimus Prime un sustituto fallido de Optimus).
Con estos ingresos para la compañía, por fin Minoru Hayashi pudo ver cumplido su sueño de crear una versión que compitiera en las 24 horas de Le Mans.

The Domes were built to facilitate the manufacturing of computers. They were built in 1983 by InnerConn Technology Inc., a manufacturer of circuit boards for computers and watches. They chose this design because they were fast and cheap to build. However during the build InnerConn Technologies defaulted on a loan and they stopped all construction and were never completed. Over the years they have deteriorated and have been vandalized. This one has been photographed and turned into a 3D model to historically preserve its place in time. A few vulgar graffiti images have been digitally removed.
DSLR + Drone photos were used to capture the image to create this model using photogrammetry.
