Made of beautiful white marble, this bust represents François Thevenot sculpted by Gazzeri (signature engraved on the lower rear side). It is one of the many beautiful statues in the “Domaine Chavat" in Podensac near the river Garonne. François Thevenot bought this property in 1914, restored the gardens which hosts many beautiful statues, including this one. This statue is about twice life-sized, and the white marble is so pure that it is difficult to scan and volume is difficult to read in shadeless mode. The few specs of green are due to moss on this outdoor statue. Wiki: Euchloe ausonides insulanus, the island marble butterfly, is a subspecies of butterfly found in the San Juan Islands in Washington in the northwestern United States.
The Island Marble is white and pale green with a mottled pattern of greenish-yellow under its hind wings. Look in the grassy prairie near wild mustard plants. Don’t confuse it with the more common Cabbage White, which is mostly white with a yellow underside and feeds on the same plants.
In 1998 the island marble, thought to be extinct since 1908, was discovered during a prairie butterfly survey in San Juan Island National Historical Park.

Steam-punk is one my favorite theme. It can be mixed with others like scifi or fantasy. And in my humble opinion, it is one of the most classy design.
So back to the planet theme again,this time with a steam-punk Earth ! The oceans are now made of gears. The earth is now made of gold and metals.
Once again, the PBR material was capital in making the material effects.

This beautiful mask and costume is also surprising by the materials used : shoelaces, fabric and paint for the owl’s feathers, that may be reminiscent of the child’s world ?
