As the Clone Wars pushed into their fourth year, the Republic began to look back at existing ships in service and determine how best they could be preserved and improved to increase survivability and compatibility with other ships in the fleet. One such ship that underwent multiple improvements was the Arquitens-class Light Cruiser.
A new bridge module was installed using standardized Command and Control (C2) systems already in place on the Venator and Acclamator, the engines were brought up to current standards along with structural adjustments to allow for more efficient cooling, and the ship’s weapons were rearranged and more escape pods installed for crew use in emergencies.

After beating down an attack from a group of greedy pirates. The crew decide to get ready to make chase. Practice is in order to make sure that this time those dogs wont get away.
I was inspired to do this peice after watching Master and Commander, and playing Return to the Obradin.
The goal of the peice was to practice some hand painted peices.
The model was originally meant to be low poly, but i decided to try and go with a bit more detail in certain areas just to try and make it look a bit nicer (most of the polys come from the rigging) 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 137420 polygons.

My verision of the Vengeance Frigate for a Star Wars Emipre at War Mod. Please do not use in other Star wars Empire at War Mods. I always had a problem with how over the top the guns on the side were so I made them smaller and put then in turrets so they could be used better.
The ship is armed with: 2 Double Heavy Mass Drivers Turrets, 10 Quad Turbolaser Turrets, and 10 Quad Laser Turrets
