A.k.a. When life gives you eggs…
Created in Blender and Gimp.
The egg model is a simple elongated UV-sphere, cut in two through a boolean modifier using a subdivided plane, which vertices have been randomized.
The egg white was simulated with fluids physics, before being manually sculpted to correct artifacts and smoothen it. The yolk was added manually later.
All the shell textures are procedural, and were created with Cycles nodes baked to the exported model before actually “cracking” it open.
