Amfreville (Eure, France), the helmet is made in bronze, covered of metal sheets made out of bronze, iron and gold. Red enamel is also applied to enhance the pattern and give it more colours. Made for the RIR: Imperium Surrectum mod, for the game Rome Total War Remastered. Made in Blender - 910 vertices The creative process consists of modelling the low-poly version, followed by high poly version through the use of the Multi-Res modifier. Any details that the piece might present are sculpted on this copy, after which, they are baked into its low poly counterpart. Digging Up ‘Little Hell’!
An excavation of one of Liverpool’s slum ‘Court Houses’ was undertaken in July at Oakes Street (between London Road and Pembroke Place). As part of the Galkoff’s and Secret Life of Pembroke Place project the Museum of Liverpool archaeology team worked with Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to see what was hidden under their car park.
One of the objects found was a cermanic egg which was used in the keeping of chickens.
