3D model taken from Phantom 3 Pro drone of the abandoned Lennox Castle Hospital. http://www.abandonedscotland.com http://www.facebook.com/abandonedscotland IT was hailed as being ‘‘100 years ahead of its time'' when it opened in 1936 to care for the treatment of people with learning disabilities. Hidden in a wooded estate, well outside Glasgow's city boundary, Lennox Castle hospital - built for (pounds) 1m - was chosen for its rural, peaceful and safe location. Apart from a few who had jobs on neighbouring farms, the 1500 patients catered for at its peak, aged from 10 to 80, lived mainly in their own community, separate from their neighbours in Lennoxtown, with their own workshops, school and recreational facilities. After a fire in 2008 the building now remains as a shell with only small hints towards it's previous life 3D Model is ready to download for free

This city was created as a demo of my Medieval City Low Poly Pack, which can be purchased here: https://skfb.ly/6FKTU
Every single asset used in this environment comes from that pack. It uses 4 different materials (five if we count the water, as it was separated for manual opacity control), each one with Albedo, Roughness, Normal, AO, Metallic and Opacity maps. Most textures (Environment, People and Market) are 1024x1024, and the one cotaining all the buildings is 2048x2048. Also, most of the details are contained on the normal map, resulting in a low poly count. Even if the scene reaches over 500k polys, keep in mind the size of the city.
As for this scene, it has been something I’ve wanted to create for so many years, and I finally decided to make it with the pack. It even works as an UE4 level.
