Dacian cup The cup has the shape of a truncated cone with slightly curved walls, a wide rim and a narrow bottom. The handle, quadrilateral in cross-section, is inserted under the rim and near the bottom. It was decorated with small oblique incisions near the base. Most specialists consider the vessel to have been used as a cup-like oil-lamp, as it has traces of secondary burning on the inside. It is possible to have been used also in rituals, considering some Dacian archaeological contexts. The Sun Temple of Modhera is a Hindu temple dedicated to the solar deity Surya located at Modhera village of Mehsana district, Gujarat, India. It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati. It was built after 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima I of the Chaulukya dynasty.
Architectural style: Māru-Gurjara architecture
Historian A. K. Majumdar theorizes that the Sun Temple might have been built to commemorate this defense.[5] On a block in western wall of cella, there is an inscription “Vikram Samvat 1083” upside down carelessly incised in Devnagari script which correspond to 1026-1027 CE. No other date is found. As the inscription is upside down, it evidences the destruction and reconstruction of the cella. Due to the position of the inscription, it is not firmly considered as the date of construction 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 300000 polygons.

Currently on museum display at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida, this piece originally was located above the ravelin structure - a smaller fortification that provided a first line of defense at the entrance of the fort. This Coat of Arms was removed in 1957 to conserve the piece, and has been on display allowing visitors to the National Park to see it up-close. Today, a replica has been placed where the original Coat of Arms was found. As part of our comprehensive 3D survey, we used structured light scanning and imaging to document both the replica and the original piece. Our data is being used for digital archival preservation, conservation, additional replica creation, and for 3D modeling and public engagement. Our Sketchfab design uses an historic image of the ravelin structure from 1895, showing the Coat of Arms as it was, before its removal. Our 3D model is positioned to show the original location on the structure. Image courtesy NPS CASA, gift of J.C. Harris 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 141542 polygons.
