kinda fell in love with this little place - i’d like to live there
learning how to work with maya has been a real pleasure, i was a bit sceptical at first since i started my 3d journey in fusion 360 and blender, maya felt very different and getting to a point of workflow proficiency where i started to really enjoy working took longer than expected. But after spending the past months slowly putting this together, i’ve grown increasingly fond of the software :)

This scene was made for the end assignment of 3D1 in DAE Howest. The seaside theme was chosen and shows part of a tropical resort, there is a house up for hire where people can stay during their visit. Surfboards and jetski are also available, information is found within the smaller blue building next to the boardsrack.
Ther is of course a beach volleyball net that is available to guests free of charge.

This is my diorama for the 3D1 final assignment in Howest Digital Arts & Entertainment. The goal was to create a low poly scene based on a selected storyline using Maya and Photoshop.
At the end of an overgrown road in the English countryside lives grandma in her lovely stone cottage. She spends a lot of her time outside, tending to her flowers in the old greenhouse, doing daily chores and enjoying tea time while telling stories to her beloved animals. Some of them are little troublemakers but that’s what makes life really interesting. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 123350 polygons.
