Probably my favorite assignment from this semester. As soon as I saw the shark reffrence image I immedietly wanted to make him. Thanks to a little practive and video tutorial watching for how to build a figure in May, I started with making the torso based on a body refrence and worked my way off from there changing the size and shape and adding the arms, legs and head to make my shark real. Aquaponics are cool. Growing your own food in general is kind of cool.
Food doesn’t need to take a cross-country drive from the farm to your dinner plate, but that’s how most of us eat. It’s just gross in my opinion.
I tried to imagine what a decently-sized aquaponic aquarium setup would look like if they were sold in pet/gardening stores. The setups I found sold online are too small to humanely keep beta fish in, they’re really just cruel science projects.
