Someone evidently got tired of the The Reanimator's shenannigans. Commisioned model for the Deanimator weapon in Buu342 and Demo's Garry's Mod game mode Monster Mash. Created off the original concept art piece by Mr.Serious, resulting in a more “accurate" rendition of the weapon's design. That is not to say some liberties were also taken, in order to enhance uniqueness as well as work within constraints. The final version for the source engine lacks some of the PBR flourish, but it does also have animated emission maps which sketchfab unfortunately cannot display. This was a dieselpunk inspired bi-plane I created for a game concept/prototype a few years back.
It started out as a low poly model but was never finished. To finally finish it I decided to add lots of new detail as well as completely re-texture it, adding additional maps that our game engine didn’t support at the time (like normal maps).
It includes a fully modelled cockpit (which would have been interactive had the game ever been made), and a detailed rotary engine; both of which have their own set of texture maps so will be easy to reuse in other projects.
Included in the optional download are all uncompressed texture maps in PNG format (diffuse, AO, roughness, metallic, and normal), as well as quadrangular and triangulated versions of the mesh.

A large half destroyed war machine only barely clinging onto a street lamp for balance. Battered and barely repaired it slowly patrols the streets.
So this one took me way too long. I had the original Idea for it back in November and started working on it then, but then my bachelor’s thesis paper got in the way and I had to put it aside. It was originally going to be a realistic highpoly model, but my PC couldn’t handle it, I tried the last weeks to fix it in some way, but seeing how my software student-licences are probably gone soon I took the lowpoly and made it very stylised. I do like how it turned out.
