After a long while, here’s my next project. I’ve been quite inspired by the HololiveEN girls so I decided to practice two stony birds at one time… that’s how the saying goes, right?
The figurine took around 40 hours to make, and I made an STL version of the figurine too. For 3D printing in resin. I wanted to remake Katarina’s base ASU model after Minagami’s concept) while also combining some official depictions of her accross media. The design choices are approximately an average with some of my own preferences since there are a few inconsistencies. After Ahri’s ASU, I feel like Katarina, being one of Leagues popular poster champions and older than Ahri deserves an update to follow up and really bring to life the lore in her comic and modernize her visuals! This is an on-going project with more modernizations of her skins to come. Stay tuned!
