I made this model for my final assignment at DAE Howest. The idea was to pick a concept and recreate it in 3D, studying materials along the way and making it believable. Modeled in 3Ds max and the materials were made in Substance painter. My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model. My submission for the second GameArt assignment at DAE Howest. A lot of struggle in the design phase led to a lot of difficulties and mistakes. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion. I learned a huge amount however and feel way more comfortable now going into the final assignment!

Hello, are two elementals I made together with Bert Suffys. It was part of a group project called Brimstone. The design, modeling and unwrapping was done by me, and Bert did the texturing. At the end I changed the textures a bit to make it look more fire-ish and ice-ish. I really enjoyed this, because it was a good opportunity for me to learn how to work together with other artists. Both textures are 1024 x 1024. Credits for the background go to Dustin Kane Billings.
