Eastham Bridge - Collapsed but not lost! …the dramatic collapse and then clearance of an historic bridge in Worcestershire was the end to its history. But a UAV Photogrammetric survey preserved the detail befor a new bridge was built. The work was commissioned by Worcestershire County Council and the resulting data used by the structuaral engineers and contractors. For viewing the 3D model use a mouse with a wheel to zoom, left click and hold to rotate and right click to move. Try rotating the model in full screen mode and switch rendering option to Matcap or wireframe (bottom right). IT was hailed as being ‘‘100 years ahead of its time’’ when it opened in 1936 to care for the treatment of people with learning disabilities.
Hidden in a wooded estate, well outside Glasgow’s city boundary, Lennox Castle hospital - built for (pounds) 1m - was chosen for its rural, peaceful and safe location.
Apart from a few who had jobs on neighbouring farms, the 1500 patients catered for at its peak, aged from 10 to 80, lived mainly in their own community, separate from their neighbours in Lennoxtown, with their own workshops, school and recreational facilities.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) embraces at its western edge, an exclusive archeological dye-house that dates back to at least the first century of the Fatimid period (A.D. 969-1171).
The archaeological dye-house layout consists of three double-eyed rows, with thirteen basins in each row. In addition, there are thirteen single basins on the northern side of the dye-house supported by a brick wall, inferring that very end of the dye house from this particular side.
Moreover, each basis is constructed of small red bricks, separated by a 50 centimeters alley, while each group of basins are separated by an alley of 20 meters long. 7 years ago, I scanned this Nanotyrannus : https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/nanotyrannus-lancensis-young-t-rex-7b0967fa27674d959647868686b6717b . However, the model was far from perfect.
I figured I would scan it again for the Agisoft Nature Challenge.
This time, I managed to create a watertight model that should be 3D printable. I also set the number of polygons to 300k on purpose : half the weight of the original model, but with more details !
This is a cast of the real fossil of a Nanotyrannus Lancensis found in Gilmore, Montana, in the Hell Creek formation, in 1946. It is about 65 million years old. Scientists used to think Nanotyrannus Lancensis was a species distinct from the famous T-Rex, but recent discoveries tend to show that a nanotyrannus is actually a young T-Rex.
You might ask yourself why the skull is not symmetrical : this deformation occured during the fossilization process.
