This amphibious beast was created as the test case for my Pluralsight course on Character Design, entitled “An Immortal Design: Character Design Theory and Development." This is a complete guide on how we created this stylized viking asset. We used a mix of Blender, Zbrush, and Topogun for the modeling section. The model was then textured in Substance painter and finally rendered in Blender 3 with the help of the compositor.
This is the Blend.file That contains everything we created in our YouTube video. This is a packed Blend file and has been cleaned up. This makes sure there are no unnecessary files, materials, etc. Everything in the Blend.file is also organized into collections and named correctly.
