A victorian era jug and wineglass from my victorian still life. Done with Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and 3D Coat. For the engravings on the jug, I modeled and rendered the shapes in Blender as a height map and created a trimsheet material which I used in Substance Painter with sphere projection. I was told a really interesting fact about antique medical supplies from a teacher who taught me 3D art in the past. The reasons for a lot of medical supplies/furniture during this time being green is so that when blood sprays on this colour, it appears as black and is less confronting to patients. This is because mixing red and green together, the result achieved is a dark brownish-black colour.
The drawers and cupboards have functioning hinges and can be opened and closed to store all of your important medicines and supplies!
