After a long time without posting anything I came back with this super cute model that I did as the final project for the Yasmin Isla course (Creating Kawaii Characters in Blender). I'm really happy with the result even though I can't do a good lighting on the model here on skethfab. If you want to see the result of lighting in Blender I will post it on my twitter (@bunnymari_)! The model was initially inspired by a photo of me but I was changing some items, such as clothing and accessories. I wanted to do a chibi model of Asuka after working on the Mass Produced Evangelion character (also visible on my page!), and in the end I think she came out really cute! I like modeling cute things truthfully as well as figurative characters, so this project was definitely a lot of fun. It was once again a big learning experience though, as I really tried to work on things like facial topology, that anime-feeling style, and being painterly with my textures. I still have a long way to go of course, but this felt like a big milestone that I’m happy to have done!
