This project was probably one of the more complex models I've done. I first worked on the handle of the saber first since that's where all the detail resides. Throughout the modeling process, I would always forget to model a certain component after laying out UVs and textures, so I will have to go back and model it in. Fanart of the P-996 Lazer featured in Rockstar Games’ GTA V.
I modeled this from the ground up to be a mix between the Lazer’s more quirky elements such as the perculiar placement of the airbrakes and the F-16’s characterisic shape and details such as the bubble canopy. The Model was built and animated in Blender while the textures were made using GIMP.
