Braum is one of my favorite champions in League of Legends and I have always wanted an Arcade skin for him to match alongside Caitlyn, Kai’sa, and Miss Fortune who have wonderful skins of their own. Wanted to do this concept by Vlad because he is absolutely one of my favorite concept artists at Riot! It’s a bit old by now and is nice and simple so I knew I could get it done rather quickly while also practicing different aesthetics. Took a bit of creative liberties to add detailing here and there to keep him up to date with current skin standards.

I started this as a fun little side project that I would work on when taking a break from my primary piece. For this project I wanted to try something new and different. My goal was to get more comfortable making strange shapes in Zbrush and also to become better at hand painting textures. Imported my old cathedral build and updated it with new blocks, new building techniques, and new surroundings. It was a self-challenge to see how realistic I can make it using only blocks/textures/techniques available in vanilla minecraft. The map was made on a 1.8 build server but packed & uploaded in 1.12.
Had to remove some features from the map during export due to technical difficulties, so it’s better to check out the map ingame if you can. The lightmap res is pretty small for each block due to the number of blocks in the whole scene.
