Sculpture of a Roman gladiator
A 3D model of an eighteenth-century bronze sculpture created by Pius Weloński (1849–1931).
This figurative, whole-body sculpture depicts a Roman gladiator with an upraised arm. The pedestal bears the following inscription: Ave Caesar! Morituri, salutant [Long live Caesar! Those who are going to die greet you]. The gladiator is – judging by his props – most likely a retiarius [net-fighter]. He fought with a trident or harpoon made of tuna bones, a dagger, and a net that he threw at his opponent’s head.

Download Roman table in various files formats such as Wavefront Object format, Autodesk FBX, DirectX 9.0, Stereo Lithography and HTML5 JSON format.
The tables in Roman times used to have one foot, although they had three, four or five legs, used as luxury furniture they could be made of stone, bronze or marble, the three-legged ones being the most common use (Mensa tripens). Those for eating were round and the square or rectangular ones were used in military camps. Citrus wood was considered appropriate for dinner tables, because the wine and sauces served did not leave it marked.

The sella, equivalent to our stool or footstool, or even a low chair, was the most common type of seat during the Roman period, probably because of the ease with which it could be carried from one place to another. Were used both by slaves and by the emperor himself, although those of the lower classes were surely much simpler, while wealthy people had access to precious woods. The folding chair (sella curulis) was an important sign of power in Roman times. There were seals with or without a backrest, which folded like scissors, like modern camping chairs, for easy portability. Modeled in Blender with PBR texture (Diffuse/Metallic/Roughness/Normal openGL) in Substance Painter at 4k, 2k, 1k resolution. Different LOD implementations.

Roman Imperial Gallic Helmet 3D Model.
Download Roman Imperial Gallic Helmet in various files formats such as Wavefront Object format, Autodesk FBX, DirectX 9.0, Stereo Lithography and HTML5 JSON format.
The Imperial helmet-type was a type of helmet worn by Roman legionaries. Prior to the Empire, Roman Republican soldiers often provided their own equipment, which was passed down from father to son. Thus a variety of equipment, from different eras was present in the ranks. Even as the professional Imperial Army emerged, and short-term service citizen soldiers became rare, useful equipment was never discarded. So when the improved Imperial helmet appeared, it replaced what remained of the very old Coolus type, which was largely superseded at the time by improved versions of the Montefortino helmet type which continued to serve alongside it for a time. This constituted the final evolutionary stage of the legionary helmet (galea).
