Used for transport, fishing or cargo, this ship used by everyone. It was just the right size for a small business owner, easy to manoeuvre and had a flat bottom to very shallow places. I modelled one of the rose windows at Truro Cathedral as part of one of my third year projects. It eventually led to a cast paper installation where I used a modified version of this model to rout a model out in insulating foam, then take a mould in plaster and finally cast in paper pulp.
