This is a Game Ready model of a Gas Pump I made while watching a course from Emiel Sleegers, a 3d environment artist at Ubisoft. For this piece, I followed the Game asset pipeline for AAA Games. I started by analizing the references, created a blockout, then a High Poly object. Then I turned it into a low poly object, uv unwraped, exported to Marmoset 3, where I baked the high poly onto the low poly mesh by using the weighted normals technique. Then I set the render scene, and exported my baked textures to Substance Painter, where I painted the textures. FInally, I imported the textures from substance into Marmoset 3, and set my render scene with a Turntable render.

This model was captured following excavation of Trench 5 at Lisnamanore (CO084-084), Garranes, Co. Cork. Some 33 cubic metres of material was carefully removed by students of the MA in Archaeological Excavation (2013/14) to reveal the surface now exposed. This enclosure is some 65 metres in diameter and was originally enclosed by a stake/post fence and external ditch (approx. 1.25 metres deep). Note the linear arrangement of stakeholes marking the line of the fence. Two wide trenches running parallel across the surface are the remains of more recent cultivation (ridge-and-furrow) and have cut across earlier trench features. This site has been dated to the later part of the 5th Century AD. Approx 100m to the E is the well-known Garranes trivallate ringfort.
This trench has been back-filled and the site now fully reinstated. The model was generated using Agisoft with some further processing in MeshLab. That’s my Winchester model 12 Trenchun. I modeled it as a fully operational Game asset. Model doesn’t have rigg but it’s fully modelled inside so it could work as a fpp or tpp model. The rifle in particular have ~4600 faces, bayonet ~900 and shell ~140. Im not completely satisfied with textures but I think this is best i can do (especially wood, damn That’s best wood I ever made).
