I’ve been working on this project since mid January now and it’s finally finished! Everything is modelled in Blender and the textures are painted in Photoshop. Diffuse and Alpha maps only.
I thought I would create a scene with a small story behind it.
The mysterious tiny wizard was experimenting with his rare mandrake Root and home grown crystals. He found an old recepice on how to create a special magic potion with the ancient root. By trying it out, he mixes the wrong ingredients together, which turns out to be a magic spell for opening portals. The antechamber table is signed by Lars Nordin and the hammer piano by Pehr Lindholm, both in Stockholm.
In the bedchamber, the main object is a pull-out bed with curtains of printed linen fabric (reprint after original in Stockholm Castle). The bed is painted in a reddish-brown color, which apparently wants to give the illusion of mahogany.
