This is a scan of a small skate park in Rio de Janeiro, Lagoa, with some great grafitti, additional sky environment, and raw decimated scan data. The park was shot with a Sony Alpha7, tripod, and zeiss lens for sharpness. Made of 160 photos and processed with Reality Capture software. To finish the sky domes are mapped with segmented panoramics that were shot at the same time. Included in this pack will be HDR 7k panos for lighting. It was a cloudy day with light rain, so things were done quickly to say the least. I document the shoot on my blog here, which shows how I processed the other nearby skate pool. Is not the best skatepark… in fact, it has many problems, meaningless obstacles, and incomprehensible geometries, with a floor more abrasive than the hardest sandpaper on the market. But it is located in a unique place, on top of a hill where you can see the sea, and where every time the sun rises, it gives us all day.
It is the place where we usually skate, although we like the street a lot, but it is very easy to get there and meet the locals, have a good time and make some ollies.
